HELLO! LONG TIME NO POST!

Dear Diary: Well hope that everyone is doing well! I have not posted in so long....(not that anyone noticd or anything :) except for Rona & Cynde) We have purchased a house & have been extremly busy working on it until it closes then it will be ready to move in. the kitchen will not be done but we can do it after we get moved in. We are all really excited! hopefully we will close at the end of the month. I will get a scrapbook room of my own YIPPEE!!! not a big room but at least it's my room!!! Now maybe I will get back to scraqpbooking in the evenings like I used to do. Well the girls are out of school for the summer. too bad grown ups do not get summer vacations from work :) that would be fun! The girls are staying at my moms during the day while i am at work except when Tom is home then they stay with him & "HELP" in the new house. lol! now he understands that it is a little more difficult to get things done with two bickering kids under your feet! Welcome to my world :) glad that he finally seen that. Well our Osage volleyball league is underway and we play on wednesdaay nights @ the arena in cape. undefeated so far but we have only played 2 games so far. well better get going i will post again later goodnight! angelia

Dear Diary, Well today is going well. Sorta..... trying to loose weight and eating alot of fruit, which I can live with since it's good & yummy. But the whole water thing is getting to me. I really want a Mr. Pibb or Dr. Pepper NOW!!!!! I have now consumed enough coffee to keep me jacked up for a week and the countless trips to the bathroom are exausting! Kadence has successfully had her tonsils removed and is doing quite well and her absence seizures have almost completly stopped. Yippee! Her first day back to school was Monday "Pajama Day" and she was so ready to go! Well Getting ready to work on some projects for the Dorm contests for CKU Nashville and have met 2 new ladies that have joind forces with Pat, Liana, Nancy and I to create our Dorm and they seem really nice! So I am very excited! Well our family took a trip to Mingo on

sunday and we had a great time saw lots of critters including my fav. an owl. Also 39 of my not fav. POISON SNAKES!!! Cotton Mouths & Coperheads to be exact EWWIE!!! No way you could have gotten my big butt on that boardwalk this weekend! They were facinating to look at out the truck window where they could not get me. Well have a V-Ball game tonight vs. Bernie so hopefully we will win. Well better get going need to get to work now before the day is over! I miss my friends & wish that they would email me! Guess I need to get Facebook :) TTYL! Angelia

Dear Diary, hello! hope that everyone is enjoying this rainy evening, i was just wondering what the heck is going on??? since i have again began to post on my blog all of my friends have stopped posting on theirs....hummm....do i smell or something? :} just wondering lol. well not really that much going on this evening actually getting ready to go to bed. i sleep so well when it rains. i took kadence to the ear,nose & throat dr. yesterday afternoon for a follow-up to our friday e.r. visit and she is getting her tonsils taken out on april 9th. {3 days b-4 easter} guess there will no eating chocolate bunnies for her this easter :( maybe chicken broth & popcicles. my poor baby...but she will feel so much better when it is over. i have heard it is not as bad when you are little. thank goodness for her sake,,,,i was 27 and had rather given birth to a litter of babies with no epideral than do that again!!! seriously i would! we have an apt. with childrens hosp. on march 30 so hoefully everything will be alright with that too,we just have to make sure that her little seizures she is having are the ones she will outgrow and make sure that is what it is, also we do not want to put her under for tha tonsil surgery until we find out that it is safe, keep her in your prayers please. well guess i will go to bed now! goodnight to anyone who happens to read this. angelia

Dear Diary, 3rd post today! wow! here is my march card swap card it was an easter theme. another crapy pic. but it says "but i thought you liked it when i nibbled on your ear...." inside says "happy easter anyway" ok this card has green glitter on the side stripes that you cannot see in the pic. also i played with this one since it was mine & i embossed the bunnies with brown embossing powder to give them the shiny effect like real choc. bunnies. {i wish i would have thought to do it on the cards i swaped and not after the fact} well anyway they were really fun to make. i usually make 6x6 cards & i really don't know why...i just like them :) well nite nite i really am goin to bed now! angelia

Dear Diary, here is my february card swap card. the pic is terible and staged as well, this is the card that i kept for myself & actualy never sewed my buttons on so they are just layed on there. but the actual ones i traded were sewn on. the heart was also glittered and i used pop dots. maybe i will learn to take better photos :) nite!

Dear Diary, well today was a good day, except for the fact that it will take me weeks to get used to the new time change. that's why i am still up on the computer at 11:55 pm posting on my blog :) well i think i have my teresa collins book done except for adding my photos that i will go print tomorrow after kadences dr. appt. it was so nice to get together with everyone to scrapbook and chat. i honestly have not scrapbooked in 11 months! so to get the chance to create something was so much fun for me. heres a pic of the cover of the book. i will post the rest of the pages when i get the photos added. {see cynde you did not hurt the cover one bit!} i am also in a monthly card swap with some very talented ladies and i will get my last 2 cards up and posted soon. if it wasn't for the card swap i guess i wouldn't have been making anything and it is so much fun to get together each month and swap them with each other. Dear Diary: what a great day it was 2day! i took ashtyn 2 cape 2 c levi @ the hosp. & while we were @ factory card gtting balloons 4 him , his aunt called me & said he was coming home. so we stopped by his house 4 a few minutes & there he was all kicked back n the recliner. he has 2 take it easy 4 a few months but he is doing so well. i guess that proves the power of prayer...ashtyn said that everyone was so sad @ the school dance @ they had a prayer circle 4 him. i had never heard of anyone going straight from icu to home but he did. he never even got 2 b n a reg. room. WOW! glad u r home & doin well levi ...luv ya! nothing else to talk about just got all of my laundry done 2day no biggie, just wanted to report in on the great news about levi. gonna get off 2 bed so i can get up bright & early 4 work 2morrow! goodnight! angelia

DEAR DIARY,Hello everyone! i went to the crop n cape 2day & got to see my jackson scrappin buddies, it was sooo good 2 c everyone, i sure wish we could get 2gether more often. there is going 2 b a crop on March 7th the same place i believe there is going to be a class using a beautiful teresa collins kit i believe. i saw the almost complete sample & i am going 2 take the class.so glad 2 c all of u! on a more serious note i was contacted by a really close friend of mine on the way home from the crop this afternoon that one of ashtyns really close guy pals in 8th grade & one of my best friends son,{levi} was hit in the head during a b-ball game today & is n icu. i am asking everyone 2 please pray for him. he is a really good boy & we love him lots! so if everyone could please keep him in your thoughts & prayers i would really appreciate it. ashtyn went ahead & went 2 the valentine's dance @ school after much debate. she really wanted 2 go 2 the hospital but i did not think that was a good idea @ the moment. they think he may have bleeding on the brain but have not confirmed that for sure yet & i want him to be more stable before i take her up. plus as a mom myself i am not sure i would want a lot of people around me in that kind of situation. i just pray that he gets better really soon! i have 2 pick up ashtyn @ 10:00 & i hope that she danced & tried 2 have a good time.i know that she is down in the dumps right now. kadences cheer clinic went well today & she is excited 2 perform @ the ballgame on tuesday. i will post some pics soon of the girls & hopefully something i made soon i really miss scrapbooking! well better go & check out everyone elses blogs! talk to you later goodnight! angelia

DEAR DIARY,hello everybody! i have not posted in forever & had a hard time even remembering my password 2 sign in : ) i just wanted to let everyone know that i am still alive & kickin! i miss all of my scrappin friends soooo much! since i started my job it seems like i never get to scrap or get together 2 scrap with my buddies anymore. i am doing well and so are my girls. kk is n kindergarten this year & ashtyn is n jr.high. kk lost 2 of her bottom teeth & is adorable. planning on attending CKC st.louis in april . i know that myself, phoebe, nancy, ashtyn & anne all r plannin on going & wondering if anyone else is goin 2?? i am also going 2 CKU in nashville in may. & am very excited that i will FINALLY get 2 meet tim holtz {u all know that he is my scrapbook idol!} me, liana, nancy & pat will make that trip. i am n a card swap with 8 of my local scrapbook pals & luv it! we meet monthly & swap cards that we made. i really need to get back to my fav. pastime & hopefully will get more freetime soon. seems like everytime i have the extra time i just want 2 take a nap :) dont know if i am just sleepy or lazy! well i have a new email address so i hope that cynde, penne, nikki & rona email me so i can get their address to add to my contacts list so heres my new email: ashtynandkksmom@yahoo.com corny & long i know but it was all i could think of off the top of my head. dial up was too slow so i now have a laptop that is quicker so thats why i had 2 get a new address. well i gotta go just wanted 2 say hi 2 everybody! ttyl angie oh yeah! Dear Diary...Well Hello ! Long time no post! I am sure that everyone was loosing sleep @ night wondering what in the world ever became of me :) Well... I have been working (& LOVING it!) Volleyballing (it's just ended) & just staying really busy in general. Things I have not been doing: Staying in contact with my good friends, scrapbooking & cleaning house (you could probably hide a full grown elephant in my house right now...seriously...well maybe it's not quite that bad. I just hate housework!) I have not had the time to scrapbook 1 single time since I started my job 4 months ago!!! (pitiful I know!)I really do miss it so much & really miss getting together with my scrappin buddies! I do get to decorate a 6x4 bulletin board each month so I hope that it counts as scrappin...I do use my scrappin paper & supplies & cricut on it though. I have still been taking lots of pictures though. Well...School starts soon & Kadence will go to kindergarten (boo-Hoo) & Ashtyn will go to Jr.High (boo-hoo) KK is ready & Ashtyn is not. Ashtyn is in band camp this week & next week too I think. Hard to believe she will be 13 next month! I promise to get some pics added to the next post of the girls. No time tonight though. I am already up past my bedtime :) funny how things change when you get a job! Well we went to Columbia mid July for ball. We went up 2 days early to watch baseball (fri. & sat) & we played volleyball on Sunday. Ashtyn played up with an older group of girls & we got 3rd. Not 1st like last year but 3rd is not bad out of 11 teams! Alot harder this year....they had some awesome teams! We had a blast! Well had to charge my ipod & noticed that I had not been on the computer since June 20 :( had over 1,000 emails to go through! arrh! Well I had better go & get clothes layed out for tomorrow in case I oversleep again! I just wanted to let everyone know I was still kicking & I will now post more often I promise! BACK TO WORK FOR ME!

Dear Diary, Well I did it! I went back to work. Found out that I got the Activities Director job @ Advance Nursing Center while I was on my trip to CKC. (Right after I had purchased my Rusty Pickle "Work is for People who don't scrapbook " T-shirt :) LOL... I have been there for 2 weeks now & love it very much! I got to have my monthly resident B-day party the other day & the residents had a blast! KK went to Daycare for the first time ever on Tuesday. She cried Monday night & so did I. But when I picked her up on Tuesday afternoon she ran to me & said "I had so much fun today, I love it here!" so that made me feel alot better. She actually woke me up this morning & said "I'm gonna be late for school" when I told her that she was not going today because it was Saturday she cried & was mad for a little while :) Well Ashtyn's Volleyball team took 1st at the Little Stoddard County Tournament on April 5th in Bell City! YIPPEE! (this was the one I left CKC early for & glad I did) One more tournament to go @ Puxico this next Saturday. Then that will be it for Elementary volleyball .next year....J.R. High Ball. Hard to believe that I will have one going to Kindergarten & 1 going into J.R. High this fall. Pray for me! :) I had a blast @ CKC! Next year hoping that there will be no tournaments to interfere with it & I will get to stay the whole weekend! I worked the Dollar Scrapbooking Booth again this year & had a blast there as well. They really had some cool stuff this year! I saw Rona & Sid for just a sec. & really regret that I did not get to see them more. I did a Piggy Tales make & Take with Deb M. (Thanks Deb!)Phoebe & I roomed with Penne & Cynde & went to the Friday night crop together (thanks for saving that table for us girls :) Cynde & Phoebe won door prizes! Lucky Ducks! Penne & I were not so lucky though....Waaah!) Well better get goin, need to go to bed! Everybody have a GREAT week! & Keep on scrapin!

Dear Diary....Hello! I hope that everyone had a good Easter! Ours was good! Although Ashtyn does not still believe in the "Easter Bunny" , she does still believe in getting a basket every year ;) I loaded KK up with small toys & coloring books instead of alot of candy...because frankly she is hiper enough without all of the added sugar & she thinks that you should sit & eat ALL of the candy at 1 time & that leads to a 2-3 day sugar high :) not good! OK, my mom convinced me to do the traditional "Egg Dying" thing with the girls this year since she was with Grandpa @ the hospital (they usually do it @ her house with her the night before Easter). I usually opt for the plastic eggs since they are already colored & I can fill them with goodies. {Hey..let's just face it, maybe I am just too lazy :)...& I do not like the mess & this year I could buy 1 doz. plastic ones for .33 compared to almost $2.00 for a doz. real ones???!!!) anyway, I humored all of them & it was not so bad after all. Maybe that will be a new tradition for us on Easter. {I still used a few plastic ones though :) but only a few & I used my food coloring instead of those pesky little tablets that come in the kits. & surprisingly it was not messy at all.} we took grandma her basket & then took grandpa his at the hospital. I am happy to report that he is doing very well & will get to leave the hospital today . He will not be going directly home though. They will transport him to the nursing home here in town to help him recover & then he will get to come back home.He knows that it is not a permanent thing & is fine with that. So, it's a good thing since he will get better faster (think I have watched too much Martha S. :) that's KK's favorite saying now too...everything is "a good thing") Well I guess I had better get going. I just wanted to make a quick post to wish everyone a Happy Easter! Have a Great week & Keep Scrappin!

Dear Diary, anyone else feeling like a duck right about now??? I sure am! This weather is absolutely CRAZY! The 3 ways to the highway from my house were all flooded on Tuesday morning. Yep, I was stranded (until Tom got home with the truck anyway) It's really funny how many things that you think you really have to have RIGHT NOW when you are stranded...for instance, I really needed a Mr. Pibb & a Reese's candy bar. I was just sure that I would die with out them so I phoned in my order to Tom before he got home. Actually I really did not HAVE to have them or even need them for that matter BUT...it was just the fact that I could not just hop in my car & go to town when ever I wanted..anyway that's just me & my silly way of thinking! Well only 15 more days till CKC St.Louis! Whoo Hoo!! My girls (as sweet as they are :0) & I do really LOVE them) are driving me absolutely BONKERS this week! I need a break & PRONTO!!! Plus I love getting together with my buddies to scrap! Well my grandpa fell & fractured his hip the other day & had surgery today. He is doing fine & Today was his Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!! Will be doing alot of trips to Cape to visit & check on him the next few days so I think I am meeting up with Cynde & Penne tomorrow for lunch @ Olive Garden (I love that place!) I am so excited to get to see them & maybe we can chat about CKC & what our plans are for that w-end. I wonder when Dutchtown will open the roads back up? Now I am having to go to Blomeyer to Chaffee to Scott City & interstate to Cape. But it's to see Grandpa , so he's worth it :) Well better get going so I can get to bed & get up early. Dear Diary.....Shame on me! It has almost been 1 month since my last post. I have been very busy , but that's really no excuse! Today is St. Patty's Day...Hope everyone remembered to wear their Green today! Actually I did forget to tell Ashtyn to wear Green to school today :( so I hope that she does not get pinched too much today! Well I did it...I enrolled KK in Kindergarten last week. That was such a tough decision for me. I really wanted her home 1 more year with me, but she's ready & it's time to let her go. She did not want to go at all but after registration she is soooo excited to go now! My friend Phoebe get's to go to CKC with me so it looks like I will get to go YIPPEE!!! I only get to stay Friday because Ashtyn has a v-ball tourn. on Saturday but at least I still get to go! I am soooooo happy! So Cynde & Penne add 2 to the room :) Hobby Lobby has a 40% off 1 item coupon this week if anyone needs one. It is so wierd going to Jackson & not stoping by the store. I miss it so very much! I wish Rona well in her E-bay adventures! I love ebay ! I need to list myself but it is so time consuming but I will get around to it someday :) Well better get going just wanted to make a quick post to let everyone know that I am still around! Welcome Baby Maggie!

Dear diary, First off I would like to Welcome baby Maggie to the world! Congratulations April & her family! She is adorable! Now on to something that is not that plesant....the weather! What the heck is going on????? Thunder, rain, sleet, snow. Just makes me want to curl up in bed! But instead of doing that ,I have been cleaning like a mad woman today! Doing dishes, laundry , vacuming & my computer duties. JUST IN CASE we loose power again! I sure do hope we do not though. Just got word that the b-ball game has been cancelled tonight so no cheerleading for Ashtyn . Looks like a free day! If I can just keep the power going until SURVIVOR goes off tonight then no one will get hurt! Also found out yesterday evening that Ashtyn has a V-Ball tourn. April 5th. The very same w-end as CKC. Looks like I am in exactly the same perdicament as last year. And I am sure I will do the same thing as last year & leave EARLY Sat. morning to come home to go to the game. After all....my kids are more importaint than anything to me ,so....... I guess I can cut my trip short again this year. {DANG IT!} I got a Beautiful card from Rona in the mail yesterday, thanking me for the pages in her surprise scrapbook. Thank you Rona for the card {I think I am actually going to copy it :) } Well I guess I need to get going & get back to the housework.....no matter how long you avoid it , it is still waiting on you when you get back!!!! Dear Diary, That's right!!! They got 1st place in Greenville Il. last w-end!! YIPPEE! Undefeated all day! They were so proud, as were all of the parents. They ALL played very good ball that day. In one of our earlier games Ashtyn served 16 serves in a row!!! That was one of her goals is to serve a whole game & she almost made it {we were going to 19 pts. each game} but they picked up the last 1 and hit it back over. But oh, well still really cool! Kinda boring game though.....the ending score was 19 to 2 . I don't think it hurt that the college colors where we played were orange & black :) the girls felt right at home :) Let me just say again how proud I am of all of the girls, they did a great job & it was definatly worth the trip. With all of the ice we were afraid we would not get to go since we were heading up Friday night & spending the night.{ Now I am really excited about the next tourn. in Perryville on March 9.}Which brings me to another topic.....that darn ice storm! I do hope that everyone made it through ok. We lost power around 10:00pm on Monday & FINALLY got it back sometime around 11:30 Friday! What a trip! We stayed home the 1st night since it was after 10:00pm but then went to my parents house who also had no power but they do have a small generator. Enough to run the heat & some water. We also went & got my grandparents & they stayed there as well. So it was a full house. Tom, the girls & I stayed upstairs in my old room. The girls were bored out of their minds. Ashtyn said everything she uses has a cord or charger for it :) ahhhh, technology! I played ALOT of games on my phone {my personal fav. is Frogger! maybe that's because I can actually get through the 1st level of that one :)} did not get to scrapbook any because I did not want to drag all of my stuff over to moms because I knew if I did I would still forget something I wanted to use anyway! & personally I hate walking on ice & that's what the whole yard was....slick ,wet ice. So I slept alot! Well it looks like everything is cleared up for another ice storm to move in . They are saying tonight around midnight but I hope that they are wrong on this one! Well better get going ...need to get some work done like dishes & laundry in case we loose water again :( & Ashtyn has gymnastics tonight so I need to hurry! Hopefully I will get to leave early & stop by the store before her class starts! If the ice does come PLEASE be careful out there & stay warm!!!! BYE!

Warm Winter Wishes 4 U!

Dear Diary, Well I am officially 1 year older now! Hopefully 1 year wiser as well :) Thank you to my good friends for all of the B-Day wishes! {I did not even know you knew it was my B-Day!} Well isn't the snow BEAUTIFUL???!!! Since I am now homebound, because I do not drive on snow...maybe I can get things cought up around here. Kadence LOVES snow so I had 2 get a few photos of her before picking Ashtyn up from school. Surely I can get those scrapbooked after Valentines day. {a girl can dream :) can't she???!!!} Well the Crop tonight has been cancelled. Actually I am glad because I was not going to be able to go. Again because I am afraid of driving at night when the roads re-freeze. So hopefully next Friday will be clear & warm. My uncle Pat from Florida called me yesterday to wish me a Happy B-Day, & said it is in the 80's there. O.K. .....I'm jealous! Well Ashtyn's team got in the top 4 at the tournament in Perryville last Sunday. {Not bad out of 12 teams.} A few of the girls had never played on a traveling team before, only reg. season ball so I am sure they were nervous. Ashtyn played the best ball I had ever watched her play before, so I was so proud of her for that . It did not even matter to me that they did not get 1st. {Don't get me wrong ...1st would have been AWESOME!} she just played good ball! We have another tournament this Sunday in Bellville. Paula is driving {Grayson's mom} us up Sat. night since we have to be at the tournament by 7:45am on Sunday . I am so glad she does not mind driving in snow!!! Ashtyn & Grayson {1 of Ashtyn's BFF's}love riding together so they can visit :) I hope that the girls play well like last week. It makes for an exciting game! GOOD LUCK GIRLS!! Well I better go Ashtyn is out of school today & 1 of her BFF's Allie just called & wants her to get on Yahoo msnger. & chat. So until next time.....Be careful on the roads & STAY WARM!!!

Dear Diary, Well I asked for it...& here it is! A FREE DAY!!! Our 6th Grade b-ball game was cancelled so no cheer leading tonight. What to do..What to do? {laundry, dishes, vacum? probably not, but at least I thought about it :) } I do have a few things I HAVE to get done before the w-end so I will probably work on that stuff. & if there is no USAV prac. tomorrow , I will have not 1 but 2 free days!!!! { but not likely} One of Ashtyn's best friends Anne is not feeling well so..."Get Well Soon Annie! " I am sure Ashtyn misses your smiling face at school. Well, I have not been outside today, only to stick my head out the door & make sure Ashtyn made it off to school ok & it was COLD! I am so ready for Spring! I do not like the cold. Call me a wimp...but I do like the option of keeping warm inside. I do need to venture out to go check the mail. But I will wait a little longer. Well KK has discovered the fun of "Mr.Potato Head" she has played with them all morning . I do need to get some pics. of her creations to scrapbook. That might make a interesting page. Dear Diary, Long time since I have made a post but seems like I have been so busy lately I just have not really had the time! Not to mention I have not been able to do ANY scrappin :( with cheerleading, & USAV volleyball in full swing & toss in gymnastics no time at all left for anything else. but it's all good! When March gets here it will slow down a little :) Well Ashtyn went to a Hannah Montana concert with 1 of her best friends Grayson on the 15th in St. Louis & had a blast! She called me on the way home & said it was so fun & her voice hurt. Grayson got the tickets for Christmas & invited Ashtyn to go with her. Grayson's dad Harold actually was the one who took them {what a brave, brave man ! to be around 1,000's of screaming little girls :) he has more nerve than me! } Ashtyn took 200 pics. so I plan to make them both a scrapbook of the concert (someday) I do have good intentions to get that done soon though. We have our 1st USAV tournament in Perryville this Sunday (27th). I am so psyched about it. {GO ADVANCE!} I LOVE USAV volleyball! It's alot more competative than regular season ball & the traveling makes it more fun too! We leave here @ 7:15 am {& if all goes well & they place in pool play they move to tournament play} we should be done & ready to leave Perryville by 5:00pm. LONG day but if they are playing well it's well worth the drive! Hope I remember my stadium seat to avoid any "Bleacher Butt" :) I think Cynde is working pretty hard on getting a crop together. SWEET RETREAT

Dear Diary, Well I just got home from our last retreat. I must say I am very sad that it was our last retreat @ Stamps & Scrapbooks but it sure was sweet! I met alot of new girls today {Those St. Louie girls sure were a Hoot! Glad I got 2 meet them. } and had an absolute Blast! I sure do hope that I do get to see them again. Ashtyn had a really good time taking classes & made some really neat projects. I think all of us girls that are CKC bound in April are going to make some of those Aprons that Cynde taught a class on to wear up there. {Those were 2 cute!} I do hope that Rona has the monthly crop in Feb. Well better get going, just thought I would make a quick post to say how much FUN I had! Thanks to everyone who took my classes or purchased a kit. A Very Sad Day!

Dear Diary, Today is a very sad day...A very good friend of my Grandma & my family passed away last night. Her name was Glenda & I have known her my whole life. She was a wonderful woman & Heaven is very lucky to have her now. It is very hard to loose someone you love ,but I do believe she is in a MUCH better place & is in total peace & is in no more pain. She will be missed greatly & my condolences go to her family. I also read the post that Rona is closing the store. This also makes me sad! I have met some Wonderful ladies there & made some lifelong friends. I feel very lucky to have gotten to teach at the store it was really fun! I do hope everyone remains to keep in close contact after the store does close it's doors. This weekend will be the last retreat so LET's MAKE IT COUNT!

In this class you will be using the Brenda Walton {K&Co.} Peppermint Twist "Ol' St.Nick" as a main paper to create this 12x12-1pg. Christmas themed L/O tittled: "BELIEVE" You will be using: Glitter,ribbon, Ink, buttons, brads & a photo turn. Machine stitching as always is also on this L/O but will be pre-stitched to save on class time. {hard to see in the photo but I cut out a Santa from the paper & coated it with diamond glaze, added it to a jump ring & used it as a charm on the side ribbon. The charm will already be glazed & ready to use...again to save on class time.} A approx. 5x5" photo will work best for this L/O. Dear Diary, Well I am FINALLY feeling 100% better! Frustrated that I have already broken several of my New Year's resolutions though...#1. No more being a procrastinator {already broke it} #2. Post to my blog EVERY day {already broke it} you get the picture. Do not even know why I bother :) Since my office is very close to the bathroom...I did get signed up for my CKC classes Friday night while everyone else was having fun @ the crop... I had to miss because I was sick & had cooties! I am sooo psyched to go again this year! Some of us are taking a trip to Big Cedar the weekend before CKC for a Scrap Retreat {can't wait!}so the girls I normally go with will not be going to CKC this year :( I really will miss them but am very excited to take a road trip with my scrappin buddies from Jackson since I have never traveled with them before! Dear Diary, It has been such a long time since I have posted I feel ashamed! I missed wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year & I also missed my good friend Cynde's 25th ;) B-Day! {sorry Cynde ...but honestly I did not even know when your B-day was until I read it on the blog, so maybe that will keep me out of hot water!} I do hope that everyone had a Great Christmas! We did {even though I did not get anything made for gifts as I had planned to do...or even get to make cards for that matter...again, I feel ashamed!} My uncle Pat was in from Florida & we had a great time visiting with him. Everything has been so hectic lately..did not even get the tree put up until Dec.23, just not enough hours in the day! I won't even get started on the way my house looks right now. Let's just say it looks like we were robbed & the house was ransacked...but it wasn't :) no ones fault but my own. I am getting ready to get a few projects done for the upcoming retreat. Supposed to get those turned in by the crop this Friday...as usual I have waited until the very last minute. I plan on doing a Christmas L/O & Valentines day L/O but we will just see...I will get the pics posted as I complete them of my classes I will teach. Well better get going & create something! Dear Diary...Well it's Monday, cold... wet...rainy Monday. Ashtyn is home from school today sick. Had 2 cancel her ortho appt. this morning because I did not figure everyone would want her sharing her cooties :) I agree with Cynde about wanting to get the Christmas tree put up. But I have to move my loveseat to storage to put it up this year since I have added a big cabinet to our living room this year where our tree usually goes. I really did not feel like lugging out that huge , ratty, old,torn, christmas tree box & putting those branches on 1 by 1 in the correct order according to the correct color slots on my tree stand. SO, I went to a thrift store over the weekend saw & bought a different tree about 7 ft & the cool thing about it was it was a folding tree?! I had never seen 1 of these before. Put the bottom base in the stand & the bottom limbs fold down, add in the 2nd & the limbs fold down & add the top. Total setup time approx. 1 minute! But even better it was only $5.00! I think I like it better just because it is so easy to put up. Guess sometimes it pays off to just be LAZY :) Ashtyn always puts up her own tree in her room every year & already has it up. KK has a pink tree but we have not put it up yet either. Cynde, don't feel bad about your hubby taking off so much in deer season, Tom saves his vacation & uses it during deer season. Not like he uses it to take us on a family vacation or anything :( but I consider deer season to be mine & the girls vacation away from him! Not so much mess to pick up around the house, no dirty clothes to pick up in the bathroom floor or by the bed, (the list goes on & on & on :) & we can eat whatever we want! (frozen pizza, hamburger helper, ravioli, cereal, sandwiches...just what ever floats our boat that night!) Pure girl power! Glad you did not get your own challenge done yet Cynde because I have not done mine yet either :) Well better get going! Happy Monday everyone!

Dear Diary.....Today was pretty good, didn't get very much done at all but watch Lifetime channel :) But now I am good & ready to go get some stuff done! Really...as soon as I make this post. A few of you were asking why my L/O was not on the Rusty Pickle Blog & I was wondering myself so I emailed them. Seems that my entry email went to their junk mail folder , so they emailed me back with a very nice apology. They have set up their filters for my email address so this will not happen again. My entry did not even make it into the challenge for Nov. That's why it is not on the blog. Oh, well at least I got a L/O done (that's all I have got done lately) The new challenge will be posted on Dec. 1st so I encourage everyone to check that out & enter! Now....onto the subject of Black Friday shopping! I had a blast. I decided this year to make Best Buy my 1st stop. The newspaper ad said that they would start handing out tickets for doorbuster items @ 3:00 am so I arrived @ 3:15 thinking I would get a ticket & go to my car & wait out the rest of the time until they opened @ 5:00am. Boy was I shocked when I pulled up! When I went to get in line I was at least 1/2 mile back from the front door. No joke....the line formed @ the front door ,wrapped around the side of the building & around the back of Logan's parking lot. When they started handing out tickets the people who got a ticket for what they wanted was able to leave & pick up their items by 9:00am. So that put me WAY up in line. Seems that everyone was after laptops & HDTV's.The items I went after were not door busters but items that were just on special & 1st come 1st serve basis. I was able to get everything I had went in after (only 2 things) They even served warm donuts to the customers. Not knowing I would be waiting in line OUTSIDE for 2 hours I had just worn a sweatshirt :( so when I finally made it into the store I was just happy to have a heated building :) I was so used to making Wal-Mart my 1st stop & I can go in there at any time & wait for the sale to start.(in the warm!) Silly Me! I got a mini portable printer for my digital camera & it had a free carrying case! (& as Tom stated to me,"Lord knows that you really need another case to hold something in." I think he was referring to my scrapbook totes that are now in the living room) It was reg. $24.99 & it was FREE so heck yeah, I really did need it! I also got something else that I cannot disclose @ this time because it is for Ashtyn & she may get on the blog just to nose around :) you know how kids are. Then I headed to Toy's "R" us to get a digital camera & had it in my hand but the line to check out was over 1 hour of a wait so I put it back. Went to Target to get some movies that were on sale (Taladagia Nights, Night at the Museum & The wonder Pet's save the Reindeer {for KK} ) also got KK a Baby Born doll for $30.00 that is reg. $50.00 @ Wal-Mart. & some Littlest Pet shop play sets that they also had on sale. Off to the Mall to Old Navy & Bath & Body Works (they had the Wall Flowers for $5.00!) plus I had a few coupons for free items & a coupon for $10.00 off my purchase I needed to use. Bought LOTS in there for really cheap prices! (I LOVE that store!) oh, yeah while I was @ the mall I ate breakfast @ the Chinese restaurant. (I know that sounds weird but I was hungry & I Love Chinese food & had never eaten there before) Back to Toy's "R"us... missed out on the camera but picked up KK another Littlest Pet Shop set & a Bratz baby angel doll. Last stop Staples....cannot tell what I bought because again, it was for Ashtyn. Since I had not gone to bed the night before I was exhausted & headed home to pick up the girls & went to bed for a 6 hour nap! Now I have all of the Girls Christmas shopping DONE! Yippee! Now for everyone else on my list.....the hard people to get for. I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving, we did but I did not take 1 single pic. :( but I did remember to on my shopping trip Black Friday & plan to make a L/O on that soon. Well better get going to check on Ashtyn , she is sick today & has been in bed . I did manage to get KK in bed early tonight so I need to get some stuff done while it is nice & quiet (a rarity at my house!) Hope everyone has a great week! Goodnight!

Almost Turkey Day!!

Dear Diary, It is almost Thanksgiving & I am so excited! (Not to mention Hungry!) I always get this way before Thanksgiving :) We usually have dinner @ my house & the family comes over but this year I am taking Dinner to my Grandparent's house so they do not have to get out. Then later I am sure that we will watch National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation" (that's just a tradition for us on Thanksgiving) But I guess I will need to get up with the chickens to be able to get my hands on a newspaper with all of the sale ads in it. I usually go shopping on Black Friday just so I can say I did it. But I think this year it will have to be something I really need to get me out. Unlike Cynde , I have not did my Christmas shopping yet. Only a few little things. I usually have my Christmas shopping done in Sept. or Oct. except for the few little last minute things. But this year I am just not on the ball at all. I have really no idea what I want to get the girls. I do think I know what I m getting Ashtyn but I have no idea about Kadence. She wants everything she sees on TV but she already has soooo many toys. Well better get off here to get some housework done :( just wanted to make a post so I did not get scolded by Cynde :) LOL just kidding! You know I love ya Cynde! If I should happen not to post before turkey day : I wish you & your families a Very Happy Thanksgiving! Don't eat too much & if you do brave the shopping on Friday, be careful out there....some of those shoppers can be pretty vicious to save a buck or two :) me, I'm just pretty laid back shopping except when I get my heels ran over by a cart! Dear Diary, Thought I would make a post since I have been called "Boring" by another blogger for not keeping my blog updated. (I will not mention any names cause you know who you are . However, I will give you a hint & you can fill in the blanks: CYND_!) Been in bed all day with a migraine :( I hate those Finally got up about 5:30 , felt a little better so I just ran 2 Mickey D's for supper. I had promised the girls Lasagne for supper but they understood & I have to make it tomorrow night. I hadn't had a migraine in so long & do not want another any time soon (how about never!) anyway, I feel much better now with just a tiny little headache. So I will live now I think. Well guess everyone is planning on going to the craft fairs this weekend? I do have 2 go 2 Cape so I will probably go for a little while. I think my mom wants to meet there. The problem with the craft shows is I always get ideas & I really need to be working on the ideas I already have before I forget them (that's why I always have my scrappers diary with me, I'm really very forgetful) I have an idea for my Special Christmas cards I make for my friends every year & I need to get those started SOON! I really want to try to make soap, don't know why ...but I just do , so I may have to give that a try soon too. Well I had better get going so I can get off to bed. I probably will not be able to sleep that well since I was in bed all day but I sure a going to give it a shot! Also , I am really hungry so I need to get to bed before I raid the fridge :) Hot cocoa sounds good too but not as good as Stormy's cake & Cynde's salad! Man, I am soooo ready for Turkey day! Rusty Pickle Nov. Blog Challenge

Here is my project for the Nov. Rusty Pickle Blog Challenge. For this challenge I had to use 3 different RustyPickle Papers (I used Chocolate Bunnies line) & Rusty Pickle stamps in the title (I used Princess Bride stamps) I used versa mark for the stamping since it is a subtle effect. I used it on all of the blue paper. You really cannot see it that well in the letters in the word Bunny because I coated it with Making Memories Glitter glaze & it was hard to get a pic. of it. I also used a big Rusty Pickle Chipboard "B" the choc. Bunny on the Jumbo B is baked clay I cut with a cookie cutter & painted. You can click on it to enlarge it. Dear Diary, Today was a beautiful day! Trying to get a little cleaning done. I am one of those people who like to Fall clean instead of Spring cleaning. I love Fall ! Seems like families get together more at this time of the year. I got a package in the mail today (surprise) seems I have won a Survivor coffee mug from KFVS12 secret Survivor Button contest. I was really surprised @ how cool the cup was. I do drink coffee & my fav. cup broke the other day so I was happy to win this 1! What a show tonight, I was so scared that James was actually going to go home (bet next week he uses 1 of those immunity idols if he does not win individual immunity challenge) Still rooting for Courtney to go home ....she just needs to leave so she can go home to eat!!! I have NEVER seen someone so skinny in my life! anyway, I have been meaning to email my buddy Debbi M. to tell her Congrats on going to be Grandma again! I keep forgetting to email her so I have it on my mind right now so I hope that she reads this post. Congrats Debbi! Dear Diary, Today was such a pretty day, perfect weather outside in my opinion. I LOVE Fall! Actually it's about the only time of the year you will actually see me out in my yard. We actually spent the day Sunday cleaning the yard & Tom mowed the yard for probably the last time this year. Had a good time @ Ashtyn's school party on Friday. They acted out a "who Done it" play. After school Ashtyn & I ran a few errands in Cape before heading off to the crop. KK stayed with Mee-maw & P-paw until Tom got in from the woods. (it's bow season right now) Had a great time @ the crop although I really did not get anything done but visit :) Just wondering if the time change effects anyone but me? Every time there is a time change I have trouble sleeping for about a week or so....don't know why, it's only 1 hour. Maybe I am just weird ;) The Small Town Girls retreat is this weekend so if you have not made it in the store to sign up , there are seats still available. Well I guess I had better get off to bed OR maybe I will just stay online for a while, who knows. Had volleyball this afternoon so I am kinda tired. Have a Great Tuesday!

Dear Diary, Yippee... It's Friday! I am getting ready to go to Ashtyn's school party. (We cannot have "Halloween" parties anymore ...now it has to be a "Fall Party" with absolutely NO dressing up! I remember the good ol' days, having our Halloween parties bringing our costumes to school & having a parade across the stage & wearing them to the High School building so the High School Kids could laugh @ us. So much has changed since I was little. I do miss the good ol' days . Everything now has to be so politically correct, but I wonder what ever happened to just having fun?? Same goes for "Christmas"parties {does anyone remember those bags of fruit & nuts they used to give you @ the Christmas parties?} I loved those! )Anyway...I just wanted to make a quick post for my buddies who thought I was dead or something, {thanks for worrying about me!} any-hoo ...I need to get ready to go to school to take those yummy goodie bags to the kids! Our "Watch Dog" Buttons

Dear Diary, Today was so much fun! I took Ashtyn & Buttons to the Petco costume contest. Buttons was a "Watch Dog" (get it :) the big watch on her back) anyway... we also took along Ashtyn's good buddy Madison & her pug Duke. They had a puppy play date :) The girls had so much fun. Buttons watch was originally on her back but the more she walked around it ended up on her side. had to think up something to use some scrappin supplies ;) while the girls & I went to eat I left Buttons to get a manicure (PINK of course!) We had to rush home afterwards to get Ashtyn & Kadence to the school for the "Olde Time" photos they were taking for a fundraiser. The girls looked so cute in their vintage dresses. Cannot wait to get them back so I can scrap it! Tomorrow is dedicated for cleaning YUK! I have neglected it so badly lately...just been too busy! So tomorrow I am just going to make myself do it! (with the help of the girls... whether they like it or not) The weekend is almost over so enjoy it. I am sooo excited for Halloween. I am even dressing up this year,going to be a witch. Tom says that should just be natural for me since I am one 90% of the time anyway....but what does he know :) if he is going to be like that I have a suggestion for his costume as well ;) just kidding could'nt resist that one!

Dear Diary, Today was very rainy & cold & I feel like poo! I got absolutly NOTHING accomplished today except for putting a pot of ham & beans in the crock pot for supper.(just seemed like the perfect weather for that.} I did not even feel like picking up Ashtyn from school (but I did) I am seriously thinking of going to bed. I am usually such a night owl but not today! But I do think I will wait until Ashtyn stops practicing the saxophone :) Got Buttons the cutest little pink carry bag off ebay & got it today ! (I may save it 4 Ashtyn 4 Christmas so shhh. don't tell her) yep , we are 1 of those kind of people who dress up their doggie :) can't help it she just looks so darn adorable! OK to explain the pic. of the lid in this post...right before I took my retreat class paint can to the store I decided to add a dove to the top so it was not in my project post. Well better go I really think I need to go to bed! Ashtyn is done practicing the sax. I sure hope I feel better tomorrow & I have a more productive day! Until then... Scrap on! Dear Diary, Today I took my class sample to the store & ended up buying some new goodies Rona had gotten in .{imagine that! I remember the days when I was happy with a plain piece of paper & a pkg.of stickers. But I am MUCH HAPPIER now !} Prima Flowers (very pretty) and Kadence has had her eye on a bag of pastel buttons FOREVER (she asked me to bring her a surprise from there last time & I took her a Maya Road chipboard book....SILLY ME! what she really wanted was those buttons!) She has a obsession for buttons just like her mom :) I remember taking her into Sassy Sammi's & she always wanted this certain pack of summer buttons. She would go get the same ones EVERY time & finally 1 day I just bought them for her & she was soooo happy! Wouldn't it just be GREAT if all problems could just be solved with a bag of buttons? Like today for instance when the screen on my cell phone just went black...I guess if I had a bag of buttons I would not have been so mad :) {2 months left on my contract before I was going to get a pink razr} I did have insurance on it so guess what???? My phone has been discontinued & my replacement phone is a RAZR !!! YIPPEE!{it's silver but maybe I will just buy a pink cover & decorate it with buttons :) who knows ,that's just how I roll! I did Have KK's buttons with me so Problem solved! } I did look @ those new i-phone's though sure would like that in my Christmas Stocking!Had Volleyball practice after school today. I swear every time I get home from there I am stiff all over! {guess scrapbooking is not considered exercise :( wish it was maybe I would be in better shape!} Well better get going & get started on another project for the retreat I am hoping to get the sample to the store tomorrow. Ok Ladies, here is the completed "Finally Fall" completed Layout that the people who took the class & purchased the kits had requested. (you should be able to click on it to make it larger) I sewed on my own personal pics . & as a bonus at the class I decided to add some ribbon & fancy pants pins. While finishing it last night I REALLY, REALLY, wanted to use the New October Afternoon clear stamps Hoot Owl. So I did add it as well. So to the Ladies purchased the kit at the retreat yesterday , you will have the "Freebies " in your kit as well (Fancy pants pins (2) , Ribbon, & a stamped Hoot Owl image from the October Afternoon) I will be dropping off your kits at the store on Monday. Dear Diary, Just a quick post. Went to my Grandma & Grandpa's today to visit & we had a great visit & I returned my Grandma's sewing machine to her today :( I sure will miss it. I was so used to using it on all of my projects but it was time to give it back. As most of you know I got a smaller machine just for use on my scrapbooking projects. I got it @ Hancock Fabrics & it is AWESOME! It is a Janome brand & weighs just 11 lbs. & has straight & zig zag & a few other stitch options. (about 3/4 the size of a normal sewing machine)If you are considering purchasing a machine just for scrapbooking that is small enough to carry to crops I think this is the 1 for you. It is model #3125. I finally opened it up last night & used it to finish my Finally Fall Layout (the class I tought yesterday @ the retreat. ) It sews like a dream & the motor sounds so good & smooth. (just thought I would post this since alot of you asked me to let you know how it worked) A+++ . I am still working on my projects for the: "Small Town Girls" retreat on Nov.10 & will be posting pics of them on my blog as I get them completed. I plan to teach 1 class & make 2 MAYBE 3 kits of other projects. I will keep you posted! I had a BLAST yesterday @ the Retreat & Thank You to all of the Ladies that took my classes & purchased my kits! Well better go I HAVE to do some cleaning today & I HAVE to get those projects done for the upcoming retreat. I will be dropping off the samples @ the store Monday or Tuesday. The weekend is almost over & the weather is BEAUTIFUL outside today so enjoy it & have a Great day!

Dear Diary, Today was pretty hectic! Still trying to get everything prepared for the retreat tomorrow. Just about have all of the kits made up for the classes I am teaching, so now it's time to get my thinking cap on & make up a couple of things for the Nov.10 retreat. If you have not been to the store lately you should really go! (especially if you like the clear stamps) Rona got in a bunch of different October Afternoon stamp sets (they rock!) This is a new company & they have the coolest stuff so I am sure they will be a great company! I was lucky enough to get there yesterday & pick up a few sets & some rub-on's to match. (I had to get that cool little Hoot Owl set!)AShtyn got her school pics back today & I thought they were really good. It's so fun to line them up each year & see how much she has changed. She put on lip gloss right before the pics so her lips aren't really that shiny in real life :) plus the scanner made it look much darker than the pic really is. Hard to believe she is in 6th grade this year & it's her last year in elementary school. Tom picked up Ashtyn from gymnastics(cheer)last night so I got to see the whole episode of Survivor! I was so happy with the outcome since he was trying to get them to vote James off! (HaHa buddy it didn't work for ya did it!)& I did not like the girls throwing the challenge (wish they both would have gotten to go home for that little stunt!)Well I guess that's enough about my television addiction :) Off to scrap again (or until 9:00 when Men in Trees comes on!) Have a SCRAPPY weekend & hope to see some of you @ the crop tomorrow!

Dear Diary, Today it RAINED! Finally! What is rain? you ask....Well it is little drops of water that comes from the sky & waters trees & plants. (I figured everyone had forgotten since we have not had a good rain in so long.) Ashtyn came home & told me she has a new little boyfriend named Justin. Awww how cute! Not really I am soooo not ready to have a teenager! As long as I can keep her focused on her grades & sports I think I will survive. She brought home mid quarter grades yesterday & she has 3 A's & 2 B's so she's doing well. She did loose another tooth the other day (that makes 4 in 2 months) so I told her she could be a Jack-O-lantern for Halloween ! Well watched Kid Nation tonight & I am sooo glad that the snotty little Taylor got kicked off of council! But I was sad to see Mike go :( Survivor tomorrow night YIPPEE! Not a real productive day for me , but theres always tomorrow! Procrastinators unite (tomorrow!) I am planning to get the baby machine out of the box tonight & at least get it threaded & maybe play with it for a few minutes. Well I better get for now have a million things to do! Goodnight!

Dear Diary, Today I went to the scrapbook store TWICE! yep...2 times! Did some shopping for Christmas papers for the Nov.10 Small Town Girls retreat projects I plan to teach. (I will post pics. as soon as I get the sample projects completed!)If you have not yet been to the store to sign up for the retreat classes that are being held this weekend,(Oct.20) you are missing out! There are some wonderful classes being taught. Something for everyone I am sure! I will be teaching 2 classes: "Warm Winter Wishes" (this class is already full) & "Finally Fall" (seats still available) the price for this class is: $7.00 There will be stitching involved in this L/O as well (OF COURSE!) there is none on the example L/O because I did not have the pics. I wanted to use to sew around. Also we will be stitching on the buttons & I am adding a few "surprise" embellishments to this page. O.K. everyone knows by now that I sew on anything that sits still long enough :) so I have decided that I have horded my Grandma's machine long enough! I am going to now be trying out a smaller more portable machine! This little cutie will either be the scrappers "Dream" machine or a p.O.p (my slang for: piece o' poo!) I will be sure to let you know how that goes. Since I was at the store 2 times today I got to eat supper @ Wib's. YUMMY! Had a leftover BB-Q so I think I will go heat that up right now :P Hope to see everyone's SMILING face at the crop this weekend! Gotta go scrap! Goodnight!

Dear Diary, Today the girls & I had a Blast! We went to Begg's Family Farm near Sikeston. We arrived around 1:30 & stayed until they closed @ 6:00pm. There is sooooo many things to do there! They played the Duck Races, they panned for gem stones, went down a big slide about 1,000 times (o.k. maybe that is a wee exaggeration) , played black light mini golf, milked a cow, watched the pig races (Kadence got to be a "Pigleader" again this year. they pick 4 kids from the audience to be cheerleaders ...AKA "Pigleaders". They win a pig snout to wear as a prize) played with the critters in the petting zoo, rode the farm animal train (Ashtyn said she was too big for this so I could not get her to get on it for a photo op.) Then we rode on a tractor ride out to the pumpkin field to pick out our pumpkins. We had a BLAST! it is our family tradition with me & the girls every year to go there. (Tom does not go with us because it is Deer Bow Hunting season & he is always gone)If you have never gone & you have kids you really need to go there! It's $8.00 per person & you can stay as long as you want. They have a HUGE corn maze but we did not get to go through it this year, not enough time. Last year we got lost in it & stayed in there over 2 hours. Think I want to go back on a Saturday night when they are open until 9:00pm & you get to go through it with a flashlight! We had a Great time & I am sure the girls will sleep well tonight. Ashtyn has a orthodontics appt. in Cape tomorrow morning @ 8:15am so I have to give KK (Kadence)a bath & go to bed. Maybe I will get some sort of scrappin done tomorrow, have to have my Nov.10 projects done by Oct.20. I usually wait until the very last minute but I am going to try this time to get them done ahead of the due date...we'll see ;) Goodnight!

Dear Diary, Today me & the girls slept in. YIPPEE! Had to go to Cape AGAIN to get a paint can for the Nov.10 Small Town Girls Retreat. I think I will be making a Christmas can for my class. Of course we had to do a little shopping while we were there. Got Buttons a really pretty collar with lots of Bling! (just what every pampered pooch needs!) A pearl doggy necklace with a rhinestone paw print, a chew toy & a orange & black fleece jacket that we are going to have a volleyball & Fan of #10 embroidered on it (That's Ashtyn's # ) I love it around Halloween because I can find Orange & black stuff that I would not be able to find any other time of the year. Since it's our School colors that's cool. Rushed home to watch Scrapbook Memories @ 4:30 but it was not on today (guess they have switched times again) piddled around the house for a while, careful not to do too much of anything since weekends are supposed to be for fun & I do not know of anyone who thinks housework is fun! Tom is out @Deer camp & my parents called & wanted us to go eat @ the Mexican restaraunt (YUM!) so it was back off to Cape AGAIN! Got some cool stuff planned for me & the girls tomorrow so guess I had better get off to bed. Goodnight!

Dear Diary, YIPPEE it's Friday!Today my new blog was born! (I think it's a GIRL!) Although I was attempting to add my blog to the blog of the Scrapbook store I teach at and was unable to figure that out now I have my very own space. (I do hope that my scrappin buddies find me out here though!) Maybe with a little help from someone who is more computer savy than me I can figure out how to put it on the stores blog. I went to the store today & found the things I needed to teach my classes with @ the Oct.20 retreat. All of the other teachers were in there , we were all trying to finalize the supplies we need for the retreat. Ashtyn stayed with mom & dad & helped clean ferrett cages & I took Kadence with me. The store has a play area which keeps her occupied for a little while then she wants to "Shop" (which to a 4 year old means: I want to pick up & look at everything & try to get my mommy to buy it for me!) Guess I got off cheap today...all she got was a bag of Harvest buttons. (not sure all 4 year olds want scrapbooking supplies for Christmas ,but she told me today that's what she wants. She's definatly my child!) Then we ran a few errands, went to Target & Came home & picked up Ashtyn @ her Grandma & Grandpa's . Came home watched a little T.V. & started work on this blog. Guess I can say I had a Great day! Well Goodnight! Have a SCRAPPY WEEKEND! Angelia

Rusty Pickle Altered Halloween Paint Can

Hi! Here is a paint can I altered for a Trick or Treat pail. I used Rusty Pickle's "Adams Family" line of papers for this project. Rusty Pickle is having a contest where you have to alter an item of your choice using any of their great Halloween papers. So I thought ...What the heck , I may as well submit it! Hope you enjoy it! I used TONS of machine stitching , ribbons, buttons, googley eyes, flowers,glitter & rhinestones. Can't wait to go Trick-or-Treating! Wish me luck! Angelia
